Attached images are those of a cockpit I have been assembling out of scrapped aircraft parts over some time. I have not put in the simkits instruments yet as I need to cut out the alluminium sheet to fit, although the instrument kits have been assembled and tested okay so far. It is my aim to use a programmable X card that uses switch selections from the panels so they do something, and with 28V dc and 115V ac, have illumination of cockpit lamps and indications.
Initially I will be using a pair of 19 inch monitors, and then next year progress to a video projector for that up in the air experience, without the hazard that real flying has! I'll send an update with the instruments fitted sometime in the near future.
