Builders
Bob McGraw, Orlando, Florida - USA
I just ordered the first batch of simkit instruments for our US Army OH58A Kiowa Warrior Helicopter simulator. I am refurbishing this crashed cockpit for use at trade shows and for actual flight training . The tail section was removed and replaced with a removable panel that will provide access to a host computer and (3) high fidelity image generators which will drive a 220 degree seamless FOV curved display screen. The cockpit when completed can optionally be mounted onto a 3 DOF motion platform and used for Turbine Transition and IFR training. My shop is in Orlando Florida USA and we provide reconfigurable flight simulators for military and commercial applications. I'll send other photos as we progress with the restoration.

Here are some photos of construction our one of our FasTrac Bell206 Jet Ranger Reconfigurable Simulators being installed with the SimKits Analog Gauge Package. We also have included some photos of or MH60 High Fidelity Flight Control package with our DeskTop Trainer. This Trainer can be optionally configured with a table top SimKits Gauge package and Plasma Panel for use as a procedures trainer.

After an absence of more than a year, the kits are back. But not all kits, just the USB Aircraft Gauge Kits. We’ve received so many requests from customers to bring back these kits, since they are very easy to construct and even easier to modify to a different gauge, that we’ve decided to bring back the USB Aircraft Gauge Kits
