Here is my BD-5 B simulator. It is still in the building stage, but I've made a lot of progress. I my six main flight instruments, VOR, warning panel, and I hope to get the rest soon. I am using the Microsoft Sidewinder 2 control stick. I got a Piper Arrow throttle quadrant that works great. I am also using slightly modified CH Pro USB Pedals.

I now have an entire room devoted to it, so I have enough room to work. I created my own flap indicator by attaching the servo directly to the panel and using a control arm in front. I am also a Gramin GPSMAP 295 using GPSout. All of the switches and controls work. It flys really well and the Simkits instruments make it all worth it.

Update: I finally found my actual BD-5 fuselage. So far I have installed the power supplies, AC outlets, cooling fans, CCU, and terminal strips for the switches. I also got a projector, which, even with the lights on in the room, projects a very bright screen. More updates to come.

The 1st of January, TRC Simulators/Simkits moved to a brand new office. Now we have production, development, sales and warehousing all on the same premises. This means our lead time for orders went down from 15 business days to 5 to 10 business days.
