My name is Audie Sellars, I live in North Yorkshire England and I too have been hit by the flight simulator bug, I have had a couple of flying lessons in a Cessna 150 Airobat, but can not justify spending £10,000 on the ppl and another £30 to £40,000 on a Cessna. I purchased Microsoft flight simulator 2004 and used this on my computer, but having flown the real thing, looking at a computer screen was not the same. I thought that I would try to get as near the real thing as I possibly could, I have seen that some on your site have acquired redundant Cessna cockpits.
I decided to build my own out of MDF and other timber, trying to get it modelled as near to the real thing as possible. I have photographed the progress thus far and have just about finished the construction of the shell, I purchased all my gauges and ccu from simkits to complete the interior.
