Please make sure your gauge is receiving enough power. A single USB port can power a gauge without problems but if you are using a USB hub with several gauges please make sure you use an external powered USB hub.
There are a few essential things you need to have to work with the USB instruments. You need to have FSX service pack one and two installed. You can get FSX Service Pack one here Flight Simulator X Service Pack 1 and Flight Simulator X Service Pack 2. It is also recommended to install FSUIPC and Simconnect. For the ADF Indicator, Altimeter, Heading Indicator, VOR1, VOR2, Wet Compass, Flaps Switch, (Motorized )Trim Wheel, Warning Panel TRC2244, Warning Panel TRC472 and Hobbs Meter use the Software for Complex Gauges. After installation use 'TRC_Calibration.exe' to calibrate the instrument. Use 'TRCUSBFsLink.exe' to connect to FSX/Prepar3D.
For all other hardware use the Software for General Gauges. Use 'trc_attitude_calibration.exe' to calibrate the Attitude Indicator and use 'trc_turn_calibration.exe' to calibrate the Turn and Bank indicator. For all other general gauges use 'USBGaugecalibration.exe' to calibrate. See the General Gauges guide page 10 and down for more information. Use 'USBFSXLink.exe' to connect these instruments to FSX/Prepar3D.
It is highly recommended to use a Powered USB hub. In fact for optimum gauge stability we have developed a special USB hub power supply which ensures all connected USB hubs are receiving enough power. Please see the TRV-VSSS product page for more information
If TRCUSBFsLink.exe reports an 'unhanded exception' error after it is started, very likely is the caused by the absence of FSX Service Pack 2. Please make sure FSX Service pack one and two are installed. Download Flight Simulator X Service Pack 1 and Download Flight Simulator X Service Pack 2
In principle, all TRC SimKits hardware works fine together with hardware from other manufacturers. There is only one exception. In case the TRC hardware writes values back to Flight Simulator and other hardware does the same, there will be a conflict. Examples are: adjustment of the heading bug, adjustment of the compass rings of the VOR's and ADF and eventually the pressure scale of the Altimeter. If you are uncertain please contact us and describe your hardware. We will check if there are know issues.
Although we have legacy support for FS2004 it does require some special steps to get it working. The software relies on some important system files to be present on the PC system. And these files are only present when FSX service pack 2 is installed. So to get FS2004 working you need to install FSX as well as FSX Service pack one and two. No, the multi-controller only works with 32bit Windows versions. If you are using 32bit Windows Vista,7 or 8 you need to give MCCal.exe and MCLink.exe special administrative rights or else calibrations can not be stored. See this page how to set-up administrative rights.
Right now we have no plans to support Mac OS.
This happens when two TRC devices are used both with the same identity. Most TRC device have a few dip-switches on the backside, with these switches you can give each device a unique ID. Please see this document for more information and how to set the ID, starting at page 4.

We ship our products using UPS international courier service or TNT Post. You can choose between 2 different shipping methods: overnight courier service, the quickest but expensive way to receive your order within a few days by UPS or standard service by TNT Post which normally takes between 8 and 14 days but due to extra security measures it might take much longer. At present we produce drivers for FSX and Prepar3D only. There is legacy support for FS2004 via our older software but this is no longer being worked on and is presented on an 'As-is' base. Xplane is officially not supported but with our older software and in combination with a third party plug-in called XPUIPC 'Which you can get here' you can get it to work.
Yes the TRC1000 has native support for the Flight1tech G1000 Student Simulator Pro software. In fact we highly recommend the use of this. It is one of the very best G1000 simulation programs out there and it has network support, this means it can be installed on a secondary PC offloading the main simulation system.
The physical limitation of the attitude indicator is 92 degrees to the left and the right. When you would make a 360 degrees roll, the attitude indicator would stop at that point. When the aircraft rolls through and its position is within the other limit, the attitude indicator turns back very quickly (in approx. 1 second or less) and starts functioning normally again.
The instrument physical movement is limited by software (and finally by hardware when the physical limit would be reached by an accident). It will not be damaged by such action.
The instrument's movements are limited by the software in the controller. For example the maximum airspeed of the airspeed indicator will be reached quite quickly and will stay there as long as the airspeed is higher than the instrument can show. This is not damaging the instrument.
The instruments are controlled by a microprocessor. The physical limitations settings for all instruments are saved in a file in your PC. When the values from Flight Simulator would exceed the physical limits, the microprocessor simply does not feed them through to the instruments.
The instruments behave exactly as the instruments of FS2004/FSX/Prepar3D would do on your computer screen. They follow the screen movements precisely. So if the instruments on the screen pause, our instruments will do so as well.
On the TRC Radio Stack controller you will find 3 pins with a jumper placed over them. You can replace this jumper with a 10k potentiometer to regulate the light level. Please see this image for more information.

The depth dimensions for the small and large gauges are measured as if they were built onto a panel. Measured from the back side of the panel and are as follows: Altimeter: 123 mm., ADF: 123 mm., Attitude Indicator: 123 mm., General Instruments: 85 mm., Heading Indicator: 123 mm., Turn Coordinator: 85 mm, VOR1: 95 mm., VOR2: 95 mm.
The light of the instruments can be controlled via software and/or hardware. See the tab 'Light settings' in USBFSXLink.exe and/or the slider in TRCUSBFsLink.exe Or you could also use our USB Light Regulator, this is a light regulator which you can mound in your panel. It is notoriously hard to get flight simulation software to run at an reasonable frame rate. Prepar3D is our program of choice. It is still actively developed and has good support for current hardware. We recommend the following hardware baseline: i7 2600k or equivalent cpu. Amd R9 290 4gb or equivalent video card, Windows7 64bit and 8gb ram.
No, you cannot use your CCU instruments on a 64 but system. This is one of the main reasons we switched to USB instruments. Cypress, the manufacturer of the chip used on the CCU, stopped producing the chip and did not develop a version which can be used on 64 bit systems. There is however a possibility to use the instruments while running Microsoft Flight Simulator on a 64 bit system. You can run your instruments on a 32bit system, and run FS2004/FSX on a 64bit system. You can connect the two systems using WideFS.

Yes both seats can be individually adjusted to be either closer or further away to the panel. The seats can also be adjusted in hight.
No a fully assembled cabin can not fit though a standard door.
Yes this is certainly possible, in fact in some cases it is the only way to fit though a door. Assembling a kit cabin is not hard to do. It will arrive in 3 parts and only need to be riveted together.

We are working on this, but right now we don't have a force feedback system. It is possible to later-on upgrade our mechanically coupled dual yoke to a force feedback system.
Only our standard aircraft gauges are available as a kit. With such a kit, Airspeed Indicators, Vertical Speed Indicators, Engine Instruments, Airliner Instruments or Helicopter Instruments can be build.
It is no longer possible to buy new CCU controllers or CCU based instruments. It is however still possible to buy spare parts or repairs for excising customers with CCU products.
